Checklist:
Here is a quick checklist to get you started today.
Practice strategic pausing during your presentation. Give your audience 3-5 seconds to reflect after asking a question.
Never "wing it" - thoroughly prepare and practice your speech, especially if you want to be called back and referred to other meetings and conferences.
Have a clear speech-writing process. Brainstorm stories and points on sticky notes to organize your content
You'll need photos of you speaking. Request a handheld microphone in the begining.
Expect something to go wrong during your talk. Have a backup plan and be ready to improvise when needed
Enjoy the journey!
